To know Kim (aka MC Kim Monique) is to love her. Her beautiful smile, diva-licious style and larger than life personality lights up any room she enters. She’s a generous, giving spirit who has never met a stranger – a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Auntie (Tee Tee), Sister and a friend to many. Unfortunately, Kim is now on a long road to recovery after being seriously burned in an explosion in her home. She is currently in ICU in St Barnabas, in Livingston, NJ. While we are grateful she is alive, the family is devastated. In addition to Kim’s serious injuries, the residents of the home lost everything in the ensuing home fire – home goods, clothing, business supplies and priceless pictures and family heirlooms.
We are raising funds to help Kim with expenses as she recovers in the hospital, with a primary goal of helping her to secure enough resources to help the family of 8 relocate and get back on their feet.
